Waveloop has been an Official Meta Tech Provider since April 9, 2025. Everything we do on Instagram runs through Meta's official Graph API — no scraping, no browser automation, no workarounds.
What this means
Becoming a Meta Tech Provider is not a self-applied badge. It's a formal designation Meta grants to platforms that build directly on their developer infrastructure, complete App Review, demonstrate safe handling of user data, and agree to Meta's Platform Terms.
For Waveloop, the practical impact is straightforward:
- ✓OAuth 2.0 login. You sign in through Meta's official flow — Waveloop never sees your Instagram password.
- ✓Official Graph API. Every DM, comment reply, and webhook is routed through Meta's sanctioned endpoints. No headless browsers, no DOM scraping, no third-party middlemen.
- ✓Rate-limit aware. Sends are paced to stay inside Meta's per-account limits and the 24-hour messaging window. Your account stays in good standing.
- ✓Audited data handling. Waveloop's data practices were reviewed by Meta as part of App Review and continue to be subject to their Platform Terms.
- ✓Built to last. Tools that rely on scraping or unofficial APIs break — sometimes overnight — when Meta tightens enforcement. Waveloop doesn't have that fragility.
Why it matters for your account
