Every Instagram comment-to-DM tool, ranked

There are dozens of tools that turn Instagram comments into DMs. We wrote a fair, no-spin comparison of Waveloop against each one, what they do well, where they fall short, and who each is really for. Our angle is simple: Instagram only, built on Meta's official API, free to start.

How we rank these tools

Every tool below can send a DM when someone comments a keyword on your post or Reel. We weighed four things that actually matter for Instagram creators and brands: whether it runs on Meta's official API, how fast you can launch, how pricing behaves as your audience grows, and how deep the Instagram feature set goes (story replies, follow gates, lead capture, analytics).

We put Waveloop first because it is Instagram-only, an Official Meta Tech Provider since April 2025, and free to start on the Hobby plan, with no per-contact billing. That said, the best tool is the one that fits your stack, so each comparison is honest about where a competitor wins.
