How to use it

Three steps. No sign-up.

  1. 1

    Pick an image.

A large photo or design works best.

  2. 2

    Choose the layout.

One, two or three rows of three tiles, in 3:4 or square.

  3. 3

    Download and post in order.

Post tile 1 first. The numbers show the order, so the picture lines up at the end.

Next step

Ask for comments on your next post.

When someone comments your keyword, Waveloop sends them your link in a DM and saves them as a contact. It’s on the Free plan, with no card needed.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Which order do I post the tiles in?

Follow the numbers. Post tile 1 first and the highest number last. Instagram puts your newest post at the top left, so the picture comes together as you go.

Which shape should I choose?

Your profile grid shows posts as 3:4 tiles, so 3:4 lines up best there. Square tiles get their sides trimmed on the grid.

Can I make a puzzle grid?

Yes. That’s what a grid splitter is for. Split a large design into 6 or 9 tiles, post them in order, and your profile shows one big picture.

What about pinned posts?

Pinned posts fill the first spots on your grid. One or two pinned posts push the picture out of line. Unpin them, or pin three to fill the top row.

Is my image uploaded anywhere?

No. The image is cut up in your browser and the tiles are saved straight to your device.
