Pro starts with a 7-day free trial on monthly billing. Outside India, Pro also has the trial on yearly billing. You add a card when you start, nothing is charged that day, and your first payment is taken on day 7. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.
Start your trial
- Sign up for Pro and choose Start 7-day free trial. Already on Free? Open the Upgrade page in the app and choose Start 7-day free trial under Pro.
- On the secure checkout page, add a credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Here are all the payment methods.
- Your plan switches on as soon as the card is confirmed.
Good to know
- The trial is for Pro. Max isn't on sale online yet, so it has no trial.
- A card is required. UPI can't be used to start a trial. If you'd rather pay by UPI in India, choose to pay now instead.
- Your bank may show a check. We run a zero-amount check to confirm the card can be billed later.
- Day 7 is your first payment. You're charged the price of your plan for the billing you chose, monthly or yearly, plus any tax. That first payment comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee, once per customer.
- In India, the trial is on monthly billing. Yearly is paid on the day you sign up.
- One trial per Instagram account. If an Instagram account has had a trial or a paid plan before, you can still buy a plan, but you can't start a new trial on it.
- If the day 7 payment fails, you have 24 hours to fix it before your account moves to the Free plan.
To stop before you're charged, cancel before day 7 in Settings, under Billing Information. See How do I cancel?
