Everything lives on the Contacts page of your dashboard. It has two parts: your contacts and your email leads.
Your contacts
Everyone who triggers one of your comment automations is saved here, with their Instagram username and when they last interacted. Story replies and DM keywords don't create contacts. You can:
- Search by username.
- Open their Instagram profile.
- On Pro, export everyone, or only the people you tick, as a CSV file.
Contacts are saved on every plan, and they're unlimited, with fair use. Exporting them is on Pro and Max. On Free, email contact@waveloopai.com and we send you a copy.
Email leads
When an automation collects emails (Pro plan and up), each one appears under Email leads, with the person's Instagram handle and when it was collected.
If you move back to Free later, the emails you already collected stay there.
Export them (Pro)
- Open Contacts.
- Tick the people you want, or tick nobody to export everyone.
- Click Export.
- For emails, go to Email leads and click Download emails CSV.
What's in each CSV file
- Contacts: each person's username, a link to their profile and their last interaction date.
- Emails: each email, the Instagram username, where it came from and when it was collected.
The CSV files open in any spreadsheet app, and most email tools can import them. Download a copy regularly so your list is always backed up. Leaving? Here's how to export your data before you go.
