What is Link in Bio? +
It's a mobile-first landing page that collects all your links in one place — the single URL you put in your Instagram bio. Add your shop, latest drop, newsletter, booking link and more, reorder them with a drag, and update everything without changing your bio link. Because it's built into Waveloop, you can also point your DM automations straight at it. See the Link in Bio guide.
How do I remove the Waveloop badge? +
The small "Made with Waveloop" badge appears on the free Hobby plan. Upgrade to Creator or Business and you can toggle branding off from the Link in Bio builder for a clean, fully-yours page. Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial, no credit card required.
Where is my public page? +
Your page lives at app.waveloopai.com/u/<handle>, where <handle> is your Instagram username. Copy that URL into your Instagram bio and it's live. You can preview and share it any time from the builder under Links in your dashboard.

What does Link Tracking track? +
When you send a link from a DM automation, Waveloop can wrap it so you see how many people actually clicked — total clicks, unique clicks, and which automation drove them. That turns "I sent 500 DMs" into "I got 500 DMs and 140 clicks", so you can tell what's really converting. See the Link Tracking guide.
Will it break my affiliate or Amazon links? +
Some affiliate and Amazon links are sensitive to being wrapped or redirected. If you'd rather send the raw, untouched URL, just turn tracking OFF for that automation — the link goes out exactly as you pasted it, and your affiliate attribution stays intact. Tracking is a per-automation switch, so you can keep it on where it helps and off where it doesn't.

Is my Instagram account safe? +
Yes. Waveloop is a Meta-approved Instagram partner since 2025 and works exclusively through Meta's official Instagram Graph API — the same sanctioned connection Meta built for tools like ours. There is no browser automation, no scraping and no unofficial access, so you're operating inside Meta's rules, not around them. Read more in Account Safety and our Security page.
Do you need my Instagram password? +
Never. You connect through Instagram's own secure login and authorization screen — we never see, store or handle your password. The connection uses a revocable token issued by Meta, and you can disconnect Waveloop at any time from your Instagram settings.
How fast do messages go out? +
At a conservative, human-like pace. Waveloop deliberately spaces sends so your activity looks natural — there's no fixed daily quota to "max out" and no burst blasting. We also respect Meta's 24-hour messaging window and 7-day comment-reply window, so every message goes out inside the rules Meta sets.

What is the AI Agent, and which plan has it? +
The AI Agent is a DM assistant trained on your business — your products, FAQs, tone and offers — so it can hold a real conversation and answer questions in your voice, not with canned replies. It's included on the Business plan with up to 3,000 AI replies per month. Learn more in the AI Agent guide.
Can a human take over a conversation? +
Yes — the AI Agent supports human handoff. When a conversation needs a personal touch or the agent isn't sure, it steps back so you or your team can reply directly. You stay in control, and nothing gets sent that you can't see.

Lead & email capture
How do I collect emails from my DMs? +
Once someone replies to one of your DM automations, you can ask for their email as a next step — a great way to turn Instagram interest into a mailing list you actually own. Captured leads collect in your dashboard and can be exported as a CSV to drop into your email tool or CRM. Email capture is available on the Creator and Business plans.
Where do captured leads live? +
In your dashboard, alongside the contacts each automation collects. From there you can review who replied, see which automation captured them, and export the whole list to CSV whenever you want. Your leads are yours — take them with you at any time.
