Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free costs nothing and needs no card. Contacts, automations and DMs are unlimited, with fair use. Here's what the Free plan includes.
What kind of Instagram account do I need?
A professional account, either Business or Creator. Switching to a professional account is free in your Instagram settings.
Can I connect more than one Instagram account?
Yes. Each Instagram account gets its own workspace and its own plan, and a new one starts on Free. One login can connect up to 25 accounts. Max covers up to 5 accounts in one plan, and isn't on sale online yet.
Is Waveloop safe for my Instagram account?
Waveloop runs on Instagram's official API, and we're an Official Meta Business Partner and an Official Meta Tech Provider. Every DM follows Instagram's own messaging rules. Read how Waveloop keeps your account safe.
Is Waveloop legit?
Yes. Waveloop is an Official Meta Business Partner and an Official Meta Tech Provider, and it connects through Instagram's official API with Instagram Login. Waveloop AI is made by Hiigher Media Private Limited, a company registered in India. More about Waveloop.
Do you need my Instagram password?
No. You connect with Instagram Login, so you sign in on Instagram itself. Waveloop never sees your password.
How much do the paid plans cost?
Pro is $15 a month or $150 a year. Max is $49 a month or $490 a year, for up to 5 Instagram accounts, and isn't on sale online yet. Prices are in US dollars and taxes may apply. In India, Pro is ₹1,499 a month and Max ₹4,999 a month, plus GST. Compare Free, Pro and Max.
How does the free trial work?
Pro starts with a 7-day free trial on monthly billing, and on yearly billing outside India. You add a card, nothing is charged that day, and your first payment is taken on day 7 unless you cancel. Each Instagram account can use a trial once.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel your plan in Settings, under Billing Information. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
How do keywords work?
Pick a word, like GUIDE. When someone comments it on your post, or sends it to you in a DM, they get your automatic reply. Capital letters don't matter, and one automation can have several keywords.
Why isn't my automation firing?
Check that it's Live, that it's on the right post and that the comment contains your keyword. Test from a second Instagram account, because an account can't DM itself. Then check that your Instagram is still connected and that Allow access to messages is on in Instagram. Here's the full auto DM troubleshooting checklist.
Can I add a link button to the DM?
Yes, on every plan, including Free. Each DM can carry one button that opens your link with one tap. You can also send a card with an image, a title and a button.
What is follow to unlock?
It asks people to follow you before your link arrives in their DMs. It's on Pro and Max, and Pro starts with a 7-day free trial. Here's how the follow gate works.
Can I collect email addresses?
Yes, on Pro. Waveloop asks for an email inside the DM, and you can download every email as a CSV file from the Contacts page.
What happened to Hobby, Creator and Business?
They have new names. Hobby is now Free, Creator is now Pro, with the same price and features, and Business is now Max.
Can you help me move from another tool?
Yes. Email contact@waveloopai.com with the tool you use and we help you move. You can also import your automations from a CSV file, on every plan.
Does Waveloop work with Claude and ChatGPT?
Yes, on Pro and Max. Connect Waveloop to Claude or ChatGPT and create automations by chatting. Your plan's features apply the same way as in the dashboard.
