How do I sign up for Waveloop? +
Head to our pricing page and pick the plan that fits you. Hobby is free forever, and both Creator and Business start with a 7-day free trial with no card required. From there you create your account and sign in with Google or with your email — that's it, you're in the dashboard.
Do I need a credit card to start? +
No. The Hobby plan is free forever — no card, no expiry. And when you try a paid plan, the 7-day free trial needs no credit card either. You only add payment details if you decide to keep a paid plan after the trial. Nothing is charged automatically without you choosing to continue.
What kind of Instagram account do I need? +
You'll need a Creator or Business Instagram account — not a personal one. This is a Meta requirement for using the Instagram Graph API, and switching is free and instant inside the Instagram app under Settings → Account type and tools. Once you're on a Creator or Business account, Waveloop can send and reply to DMs on your behalf.
How do I connect my Instagram? +
From your dashboard, click Connect Instagram and you'll be taken through Meta's official login. You approve the connection on Meta's own screen and get sent back to Waveloop — we never see or store your password. The whole thing takes about a minute.
How do I build my first automation? +
Open Automations in the sidebar and create a new one. Choose a trigger — a specific post or reel, or a keyword people comment or DM — then write the DM you want sent in reply. Preview it, and hit Go live. Your automation starts working the moment someone matches the trigger.
How fast do my DMs go out? +
In real time — as soon as someone triggers your automation, we start sending. Delivery is paced at a conservative, human-like speed so your account behaves naturally, with no fixed daily quota. We also honor Meta's 24-hour messaging window and 7-day comment-reply window automatically, so replies always land inside the rules.
Is Waveloop safe for my account? +
Yes. Waveloop runs entirely on the official Instagram Graph API — no passwords, no browser automation, no scraping. Everything happens through Meta's approved connection, delivered at a human-like pace. We've been a Meta-approved Instagram partner since 2025, which means our access is vetted by Meta itself.
