To stop Waveloop, disconnect Instagram from Connections. To delete your account and its data, use Settings, then General.
Disconnect Instagram
- Log in to Waveloop and open Connections.
- Click Disconnect Instagram.
- Click Disconnect to confirm.
Your automations stop right away. Your contacts and history stay in your workspace, so if you reconnect later, the automations that were live switch back on.
Using more than one Instagram account? Disconnect only affects the account you're on. Switch accounts first if you need to.
Remove Waveloop from Instagram
You can also end Waveloop's access from Instagram itself. In the Instagram app, open your settings, go to Apps and websites, and remove Waveloop. Here's what Waveloop can access while it's connected.
Delete your account and data
Disconnecting keeps your data. Deleting removes your login, every Instagram account on it, and all their data.
- Log in to Waveloop and open Settings, then General.
- Under Danger zone, next to Delete your Waveloop account, click Delete account.
- Type DELETE and click Continue.
- Confirm it's you with your password, with Google or with a code we email you.
- Click Delete my account.
Everything stops at once. We erase your account and its data 7 days later, and keep only the payment records the law requires. Changed your mind? Sign in before then and choose Keep my account.

Before you delete anything, you may want a copy of your contacts. On Pro, you can export them from Contacts in your dashboard. On Free, email contact@waveloopai.com and we send you a copy.
