Waveloop has three automation types. Every plan can build all three, including the Free plan.
Comment on a post or reel
Someone comments your keyword on a post or reel. Waveloop sends them a DM, and it can also post a public reply under their comment. This is the classic "Comment GUIDE and I'll send you the link." Use it for launches, freebies and anything you mention in a caption.
On Free, each comment automation runs on one post or reel you pick. Pro can also choose Any post or reel, or Next post or reel, which links itself to the next post you publish.
Keyword in a DM
Someone DMs you a keyword, like "PRICE". They get your reply straight away. You can also set it to reply to any message. Use it for questions people ask often.
Reply to a story reply
Someone replies to one of your stories. They get an automatic DM back. It can fire on a keyword or on any story reply. Use it when a story asks people to reply.
What Waveloop doesn't automate
Waveloop only replies to people who contacted you first, with a comment, a DM or a story reply. It doesn't DM new followers, and it doesn't send cold messages.
Create one
- Log in and open Automations.
- Click New Automation and pick one of the three types.
- Add your keywords and write your message.
- Switch it to Live at the top. New automations start as drafts.
Every type can send a text DM with a link button, or a card reply with an image, on every plan. Email collection needs Pro. On Pro, you can also create automations by chatting in Claude or ChatGPT.
